EmmyLou Harris gave me homework today: listen to the Legend of Jesse James.
I just got back from hanging with the G'earls - they did a shape note song about Napoleon.
I'm in the same hotel with the weird floral bomb air fresher in the lobby, the slowly rotting glass-preserved chocolate sculpture, and the diamonds patterns in the all the carpet and wallpaper. Why do the hallways make me feel endless? But I do always like the way the elevators go so fast you get that funny feeling in your stomach on the way down.
or it could be the moonshine...

I didn't want to acknowledge it because I was SO JEALOUS! I've pretty much gotten over that now and mostly I'm just thrilled that Jen got to do this! I want EmmyLou to give me homework! I want some moonshine. dang!
