did you see the eclipse last night? I hear it was rainy in richmond, but in DC the sky was clear and cold and Saturn was out with the moon, too. I watched it thru the bar's skylight with a table full of hippies who'd just see deepak chopra at the bookstore who were discussing great spiritual truths. they'd just bought me a drink in exchange for 'putting their names in the credits of my first movie' and as congratulations for my moving to NY. i didn't have the heart to tell them it'd be a long while before my film, so, thanks for the drink, table 18.Earth eclipsed Sun's light on the first full moon of the lunar year. surely this is a good sign? a restart of 2008 which has already been rough for so many of us? A beginning of refreshing change?

Wish I'd been at the table of hippies discussing great truths and gazing skyward at the eclipsed moon...instead I was dashing thru Richmond's sleet and curling up in warm bed with a good book. Love your MOON photo...
