In the strange art world news, some guy leading a secret life (the secret was that he was not as fabulous as he said he was) has died, leaving no will and millions of dollars of stolen paintings behind. the FBI wants to know if they belong to you.apparently one Mr. "William Milliken Vanderbilt Kingsland, a threadbare eccentric and an amateur genealogist of the Upper East Side," was never married to a French royal (i only told him that to get to the art) never went to harvard (he lied to me!) and was actually a pauper named Melvyn. nice collection though, if a little disconnected.
